For a small town, Bexhill is blessed with a large number of excellent places to eat, whether you simply want a freshly made sandwich whilst out shopping, to some fine restaurants if you want an excellent meal out, through to some excellent takeaways if you want a night in.
To make it easy to find what you want, this section has been split into four:
Restaurants are classified as those places that are open evenings as well as daytime, and serve full meals. The classification includes all world cusisines, including Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai.
Cafes are classified as those open during the day only and serving light meals such as sandwiches, jacket potatoes and cooked breakfasts. Typically this will also include coffee bars and sandwich bars.
Takeaways (including fast food restaurants) are classified as places where prepared food is either solely or usually purchased to be eaten off the premesis, and typically covers places that sell kebabs, burgers, fried chicken and the like. Such establishments may offer eat-in as well as a takeaway service.
Pubs (including cafe bars) are classified as places which are primarily places that serve alcohol, but also serve food. Pubs not serving food are not included within this section. These places may not be suitable for children - see individual entries for the details of a particular establishment.
If you have special requirements for a meal out - for example, you have children with you or require a non-smoking environment - then be sure to check out the Special Features option which lists the places to eat according to the features the offer.
